On her way to Utah to see her dying mother, college student Darby Thorne gets caught in a fierce blizzard in the mountains of Colorado. With the roads impassable, she’s forced to wait out the storm at a remote highway rest stop. Inside are some vending machines, a coffee maker, and four complete strangers.

Desperate to find a signal to call home, Darby goes back out into the storm . . . and makes a horrifying discovery. In the back of the van parked next to her car, a little girl is locked in an animal crate.

Who is the child? Why has she been taken? And how can Darby save her?

There is no cell phone reception, no telephone, and no way out. One of her fellow travelers is a kidnapper. But which one?

Trapped in an increasingly dangerous situation, with a child’s life and her own on the line, Darby must find a way to break the girl out of the van and escape.

But who can she trust?

No Exit —Four strangers, a blizzard, a kidnapped child and there’s nowhere to hide.

Well. The fuck did I just read?

This is legit one of the coolest thriller I’ve ever read.

Darby Thorne is on her way to visit her dying mother. However, she is caught in a blizzard and left stranded in a remote highway rest stop. Here, she is met with four complete strangers and apparently there’s a kidnapped little girl locked in an animal crate.

The whole premises of the book is just crazy.

Strangers, a kidnapped child, psychopath and above all else, NO EXIT because all of them are trapped in a remote highway in blizzard with no way in and definitely no way out.

Not only that, the book also has such a good deliverance and such a smooth flow that I can’t stop reading the book. All of the aspects are blended in perfectly.

If anyone ask me about a true thriller, this book will definitely be in my list. This book screams adrenaline from the very first page until the very last page. This book is pure thriller and adrenaline rush that keep me awake and can’t stop reading because the sequence of good and bad things keep on coming and it is just unstoppable.

Have I told you Darby is the coolest and my most favorite thriller main character? She is smart, kind and amazing. I have never love thriller character as much as Darby because characters are easily forgotten in thriller but I absolutely love her to the moon and back, for her wittiness , quick thinking and just her existence in the book. She is absolutely amazing.

Thriller usually spill everything in the end and it presents us with action near the end of story. This is where plot comes to light and everything make sense. But damn, this book put all of them to shame.

This book momentum is just unstoppable and there is always something that keep me on edge. A true no exit thriller. When you think you got everything under control and there’s nothing out there that could surprise you, believe me, there will always be surprises.
