Fifteen seconds. That’s all it takes to completely change everything about a person. Fifteen.

“Fifteen seconds. That’s all it takes to completely change everything about a person. Fifteen.”

I come across this quotes from the book I’ve just finished recently. Colleen Hoover- It Ends With Us.

These days, before even knowing this sayings exist, I kept on thinking how life could changed in a matter of seconds. Like in a second we are fine and the next, disaster falls. And it all came without warning and just changed the course of life in a matter of seconds.

And as I currently work in a generous workspace, I feel this quotes hits hard. I keep thinking to run away from all the constant unpredictable troubles coming non-stop in my way, but I have nowhere to go. Working in my current workspace, feels like tackling life, where I was stuck in a situation with nowhere to go.

But if one second could drag me down, deep down, I believe that one second too could changed my course of life for good, I am dreading for that day to happen and all I could do is to remain hopeful for better future.

I know there are no instant happiness and I know working hard plays a part in it too. But I hope I could somehow find a way or perhaps inspiration? in a second that could changed my life for better.

There’s this another sayings I love from Colleen Hoover- It Ends With Us.

“Lily, Atlas says just keep swimming. —Ellen DeGeneres”

And this just keep swimming quotes just hits different now. With more conviction, more hope and in some way, feels more mature. Note to self, I wish I will never stop swimming until the day I reach the shore. And to all of you dreamers, wonderers, whoever you are, I hope you too, will keep on swimming and deeply wishing you a second that could changed your life forever in a good way.

Cheers to a better life.
