The Behind the Book Blogger Book Tag

Hey there! It has been such a loooooong time since I last joined a book tag and it has been a long time since I last posted something fun in the blog! *please bear my book reviews*  Therefore, I am sooo happy to be tagged by the amazing The Orangutan Librarian! Great content, great personality. You guys should definitely check out her blog!

The Rules:

  • Thank the person who nominated you
  • Answer all the questions down below
  • Pingback to the creator: Ellyn @ Allonsythornraxx
  • Nominate 5+ bloggers you’d like to know more about, to do this tag

1. Why did you start blogging? & Why have you kept blogging?

There are many reasons actually. As all you’ve known, I love reading and as a bonus, I’m good at writing bullshit on paper 🙂 But thinking back now, I vaguely remember been interested with bloggers world. There are SO MANY of them. Fashion bloggers, Lifestyle, Health, Travel, Foodie, etc BUT I rarely seen any book bloggers. Out of curiosity, I search for “book review” and BOOM!

Results coming in, I’m swoon over and here I am.

There are 6 months span when I am not that active in blogging. I lost high numbers of insights and that includes comments, likes and yes, readers and blogging friends. I had ALMOST deleted this blog back then because of how busy I am, thinking I’ll never made the time to blog again.

But I come back because of how much I missed this community, the bloggers, the familiarity, the recommendations and much much more! It’s just amazing.

2. What is your favourite type of blog post to write?

Fun post! Because that’s the best way to communicate and know each other! But recently, I’m focusing on writing reviews♥

3. What are your top three favourite blog posts?

Honestly? I’m not even sure. Because I rarely (almost never) gone back to re-read my published writing. I always found it lacking  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯¯  but thankfully there’re you! Who expect, reads and spare the time to support by commenting. So I might as well left it to you to judge it♥

4. What are some of your favourite things to do to relax?

• My most favourite:

Simply lying in the bed is pure bliss.

• Moreover, this, happened either I’m stressed or I simply do not have anything to do at all:

S N A C K I N G.

The best way to reduce stress and a great way to fatten tummy.

5. What are three of your favourite things?

Hmm. I don’t have much possessions and I am not the type to be attached with things. Therefore, I don’t think I have any favourite things other than books. But I am so interested with bookish things. Like books, notes, writing book, bookish pillows, mugs, etc.

6. What are your proudest blogging moments?

Posting my first post ever and not long after, liked and comments by fellow bloggers. That, got me thinking *Is this even real?!*

7. What are your hobbies outside of blogging?

Aside from blogging and reading, I casually loves to paint. But I haven’t paint in like probably a year already. There’s even time when I neglect painting for years. Recently, I’m so interested with history that I have books that compiled my history-reading research. I think that’s my most favourite hobby these days.

*raise your hand if you sing along the text*

8. Describe your personality in three words.

Calm, smiley and random at worst time possible.

I could be calm or I could be a lunatic. Depends on which circles I’m in~

9. What are your top three pet peeves?

Seriously, I can’t think of any other than dog-ear book *not to mention, If it is mine*

10. What’s something your followers don’t know about you?

I despise octopus, squid or anything related to that species. Be it alive, dead, cooked or raw.

So, here’s the most difficult part for me. I’m not sure who to tag because there are bloggers who are not fond of tags and I’m not sure if you’ve done this tag already or nah, since this tag has been circling around for weeks already and I just got the time to join in the fun.

But here’s my choice: Chris, Stephen,  Lindsey, Julie and last but not least anyone of you who are interested to participate!

As always, I only encourage you to join the tag if you really want to do the tag. Please do not think of it as a burden and if you choose to NOT joining in the tag, that’s ABSOLUTELY fine.

Alas, here’s my answers and I hope you enjoy this post!

  1. Thanks so much for thinking of me, Celine. I haven’t done one of these for a long, long time, but maybe I could take a rain check and pick up in the festive season 🙂

p.s. Oh dear! Octopuses feature in my next novel, which will be coming out in the New Year 😉

    1. You’re so welcome Chris! I hope you’re not taking this as a burden. I’m very okay if you decided not to do the tag!❤ As long as you’re happy with your decision!✨
And I CAN’T WAIT for your new novel release Chris! Even though there’s octopus😂
